We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Machinist. Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain basic machining tools including lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC machines under supervision.
  • Follow blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to produce parts to specification.
  • Conduct basic quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in setting up and adjusting machines for various production runs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, complying with all safety and company policies.
  • Report equipment or tooling issues promptly to the supervisor.
  • Support routine machine maintenance and cleaning during or after shifts.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED (technical or vocational training preferred).
  • Basic understanding of machining operations and tools (training will be provided).
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced machinists.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
  • Basic math and measurement-reading skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to CNC machine operations or programming.
  • Prior experience or coursework in machining, manufacturing, or engineering.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
